Supplemental heat

Baby wildlife should have a supplemental heat source in most situations. The heat source should ideally not come into direct contact with the animal and should be wrapped in a cloth or towel underneath the animal or be on the outside of the box or carriers.

*Ensure that heat sources remain warm until the baby is reunited with its mother or transferred to a licensed wildlife rehabilitator.
